[ARCHIVED] Celebrate 928 Day with Local Deals and Events

The City of San Luis is rolling out a new marketing campaign this September called 928 Day

San Luis, Arizona – The City of San Luis is rolling out a new marketing campaign this September called “928 Day.” Throughout the month, local businesses will feature special promotions and discounts to help residents and visitors discover their products and services. The campaign will culminate on Sunday, September 28, 2025, symbolically tied to the city’s iconic 928 area code, as a day to celebrate San Luis’ vibrant local culture, small businesses, and community pride.

During the month of September, local restaurants, businesses, and service providers are offering exclusive deals, from discounted meals to limited-edition products, as they celebrate the holiday season. Whether you're craving a $9.28 bite, 9.28% off selected items, or a 928 Combo, there's a deal for everyone!

“928 Day is a celebration of our local businesses, our residents, and the creative spirit that makes the City of San Luis shine,” stated Armando Esparza, Director of Economic Development and Government and Foreign Affairs. “It’s an opportunity for residents to show their hometown pride, discover new local experiences, and discover their next local favorite,” he added.

To help community members and visitors navigate the festivities, an interactive, mobile-friendly listing of all participating businesses and their exclusive 928 Day deals is now available at Sanluisaz.gov/928. The website also indicates when organizations are celebrating throughout the month of September. This resource will make it easy to plan your perfect day and support our local establishments.
