San Luis, Arizona—The City of San Luis has appointed Fernando Corona as the Information Technology Manager, effective May 17, 2024. Mr. Corona has been performing the duties of Director since March 2024, following the departure of the former Information Technology Manager.
Mr. Fernando Corona began his tenure with the City of San Luis three years ago and served in various capacities, such as IT Specialist and Network and Security Administrator. In his elevated role as IT Manager, Corona is tasked with aligning the IT department’s initiatives with the city’s goals and driving innovation through technology solutions.
“Fernando has been an invaluable asset to the City of San Luis during his time here, demonstrating his expertise and dedication on a daily basis,” stated Acting City Manager Jenny Torres. “His knowledgeable contributions have significantly improved the city’s technological infrastructure and ensured operational efficiency,” she concluded.
Expressing his enthusiasm regarding his new role, IT Manager Fernando Corona shared his vision for the department, expressing his enthusiasm for ensuring the department's technology needs are met promptly and effectively, improving city operations, and enhancing the services it provides.
