San Luis Post Office Now Offers Saturday Retail Hours for Customers’ Added Convenience

For local postal customers’ convenience, the San Luis Post Office, 874 S. Main St. in San Luis, AZ, is now offering full retail services on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The new Saturday hours go into effect this Saturday, Feb. 13, Postmaster Diane Merrill announced today.

Weekday retail hours will continue to be offered from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday, she added.

In addition, Merrill said San Luis Post Office Box customers will now be offered additional hours to retrieve their mail, starting Tuesday, Feb. 16. (Monday, Feb. 15, is a federal holiday.) The P.O. Box lobby will be accessible from 7:30 a.m.to 10 p.m. weekdays, and from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturdays. (Currently, the P.O. Box lobby is open from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays.)

The San Luis Post Office is closed on Sundays.
Area postal customers can look up all locations offering USPS stamps and services by visiting the Postal Service’s website at usps.com.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
