Dear Residents:
In the event you are experiencing high water temperatures in your house, the following are suggested changes and improvements to your water system to help mitigate the high water temperature.
- Insulate all water lines that are in the attic.
- Wrap your water heater (boiler) with an insulation blanket and turn off the electricity during the hot months.
- Replace the ¾” water service line (water line between meter and house) with a one inch (1”) line and install the new line 24” below grade.
