[ARCHIVED] CITY OF SAN LUIS BEACH STREET IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT

Cemex Construction Materials South has been awarded the City of San Luis Beach Street Sewermain and Roadway Improvements Project. This project is funded with Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the Arizona Department of Housing (ADOH) as a State Special Project.

The work consists of installing 265 linear feet of 8” diameter sewer, connection to 10 exiting sewer services, paving approximately 983 lineal feet of full roadway width between
U.S. Highway 95 and Juan Sanchez Blvd, 1,200 lineal feet of rolled curb and gutter, 5 foot wide sidewalks replacement, 2 sidewalk ramps, concrete driveway entrances, parkways, pedestrian walkways, cross gutters, and valley gutters with aprons.

The project is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 31, 2015 and complete in early November 2015.

On Monday, August 31, 2015 Cemex will be pulverizing the asphalt on Beach Street. We ask that on this day no one parks on the street. Please have your vehicles moved off the asphalt street by 9:00am. Vehicles can be parked on Escondido Street.

On Tuesday, September 1, 2015 the underground sewer portion of the project will follow. Please have your vehicles off the street by 6:00am. Vehicles can be parked on Escondido Street.

We will do our best to have this project run as smoothly as possible and apologize for any inconvenience that may be encountered during the construction process.
