San Luis, Arizona— Council Member Javier Vargas has been appointed to serve on the Western Arizona Council of Government Executive Board.
The Western Arizona Council of Government (WACOG) Executive Board focus is in improving efficiencies and coordination across multiple federal programs and develops long-range strategies to address needs, particularly in areas of transportation, the environment, and human services.
“I am honored to join the WACOG Executive Board and look forward to contributing to solutions that benefit our community,” stated Council Member Javier Vargas. “Together, we will work to promote collaboration and ensure that the needs of our residents are met effectively,” he added.
