San Luis, Arizona— Council Member Lizeth Servin has been appointed to represent San Luis on the Yuma County Intergovernmental Public Transportation Authority (YCIPTA) Board of Directors.
The YCIPTA Board of Directors comprises an eight-member board representing Yuma County, the Cities of Yuma, San Luis, Somerton, the Town of Wellton, Arizona Western College, the Cocopah Nation, and the Quechan Nation. The board administers, plans, operates, and maintains public transit services throughout Yum County.
“I am honored to join the YCIPTA Board of Directors and have the opportunity to work alongside such a dedicated group of leaders,” stated Council Member Lizeth Servin. “I am committed to ensuring the needs of San Luis residents are well-represented and ensure our community continues to have access to reliable, efficient public transportation services,” she added.
