San Luis, Arizona—The City of San Luis Development Services is pleased to announce Juan Leal Rubio's appointment as the new Assistant Director. After a thorough interview process, Mr. Leal Rubio was identified as the top candidate for this key position.
In his role as Assistant Director of Development Services, Mr. Leal Rubio will support the planning, organization, direction, and evaluation of all operations related to building safety and inspection, plan review, urban planning, zoning, code enforcement, and community and economic development. He will also serve as the City's primary authority on building, planning, and zoning issues, ensuring effective coordination of activities and services between various departments and with public and private agencies, organizations, and individuals.
"Mr. Leal Rubio's extensive experience in local government, combined with his leadership skills and forward-thinking vision, align perfectly with the rapid growth of San Luis," stated Jose A. Guzman, Director of Development Services. "His involvement will contribute to responsible development, high-quality services, and a strong future for our community."
