San Luis, Arizona – Council Member Tadeo Azael De La Hoya has been appointed to the National League of Cities HELO Board of Directors for two years.
The HELO Board of Directors is one of six National League of Cities constituency groups. Established in 1976, HELO addresses current issues facing Latino and Hispanic communities and provides guidance to the NLC Board of Directors and Federal Advocacy Committees.
“It is a great honor to serve on the HELO Board of Directors, advocating for and protecting the interests of Latino and Hispanic communities in over 2,700 cities across the nation,” stated Council Member Tadeo Azael De La Hoya. “I am looking forward to elevating the voice of San Luis nationally as I serve our community,” he added.
