[ARCHIVED] San Luis Municipal Pool Set to Open

default

San Luis, Arizona—After a long-awaited period, the San Luis Municipal Pool will reopen to the public on July 24, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. The pool had been closed since the Fall of 2022 for crucial improvements to elevate safety, functionality, and overall user experience.

The extensive repairs and renovation project encompassed demolishing the existing pool plaster, replacing the concrete deck and flooring deck around the perimeter of the pool.  Also required replacing the ADA-compliant Handicap pool lift, and replacing the pool shades. The project also added new amenities to the pool, including two new water features.

“We recognize the significance of the community pool to our residents and community members, offering not only a relief from the summer heat but also serving as a hub for physical activity, education, and the creation of lasting memories with loved ones,” stated Angelica Roldan, Director of Parks and Recreation. “We are unwavering in our commitment to deliver a secure, enjoyable, and accessible environment for all, and eagerly anticipate welcoming the community back to the pool,” she added.

The San Luis Municipal Pool will be open Tuesday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
