San Luis, Arizona—The City of San Luis held a special election on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, in which voters could cast their vote on Proposition No. 422, a proposed proposition to implement a primary (ad valorem) property tax.
Following polls closing at 7:00 p.m., the current count reflects 1,594 ballots casts, including:
- Early ballots that have been processed and counted.
- Poll results from all voting centers.
The following are the results as of Tuesday, May 21, 2024, 8:00 p.m.
Shall the City of San Luis, Arizona (the “City”), be authorized to raise not to exceed $2,500,000 by primary (ad valorem) property taxes? If such amount is approved by the voters, it shall be the base for determining levy limitations for the City for subsequent fiscal years.
