San Luis, Arizona – The Cesar Chavez Cultural Center will be temporarily closed for approximately 26 days starting January 8th, 2024. Closure is due to floor repair and replacement project throughout the building. The project is expected to be completed by February 2nd, 2024.
The temporary closure of the center is to ensure the safety and welfare of visitors, staff, and volunteers while the work is being performed. The floor repair and replacement project is needed due to wear and tear and for the safe use of the facility. It will improve the appearance and give our community a renovated center for many years to come. The management team is committed to ensure that the project is completed promptly and efficiently.
During the closure, classes will be temporarily postponed. Participants have been promptly notified. Cesar Chavez Cultural Center personnel may be reached at the Parks and Recreation Administration Building located at 744 E. Cesar Chavez Boulevard or call (928) 341-8535.
