[ARCHIVED] US 95 Juan Sanchez Boulevard intersection scheduled for overnight paving next week.

The intersection of US 95 and Juan Sanchez Boulevard in San Luis is scheduled to be paved overnight next Tuesday, May 26, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

In an effort to minimize business impacts, work is scheduled to take place from 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 26 through 8:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 27. Crews will alternate traffic through the intersection during work hours as they remove and replace the pavement. Law enforcement will be on-site to monitor traffic.

Motorists are advised to plan for delays and use alternate routes.

This is an ongoing project to improve downtown San Luis between the Arizona Department of Transportation, the city of San Luis and Yuma County. The $11 million project is scheduled to be completed this summer.

ADOT works to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but there is a possibility that unscheduled closures or restrictions may occur. Weather can also affect a project schedule.
