[ARCHIVED] Downtown Redevelopment Plan Meeting

San Luis, Arizona – The City of San Luis invites community members and local businesses to participate and offer input for the formation of a Downtown Redevelopment Plan that is responsive to local needs. On Tuesday, September 28, 2021, the meeting will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Cesar Chavez Cultural Center located at 1015 N. Main Street, San Luis, AZ, 85336.

This meeting will facilitate the focus of public resources to achieve a shared vision for the downtown area while providing a framework for future decision making and policy and action to guide the growth and development of the downtown area and surrounding neighborhoods.

The project goals and objections are:

  • Accomplish Mayor and City Council Strategic Plan
  • Enhance and Revitalize Downtown
  • Increase Property Values
  • Attract new infill development
  • Encourage reinvestment
  • Improve the quality of life for residents and visitors.

“I encourage every one of our residents, community members, and business owners to attend the Downtown Redevelopment Plan Meeting and share their input,” stated Mayor Gerardo Sanchez. “Your input will help develop a plan that identifies and addresses the needs of our community,” he added.
