[ARCHIVED] C Street intersection closed at Main Street for city sewer work this weekend.

The C Street intersection at Main Street is scheduled to be closed this weekend beginning Friday, March 13 through Sunday, March 15 while city of San Luis crews work to install a new sewer line across Main Street, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

San Luis drivers should plan ahead and use alternate side streets to get to their destination. Pedestrians and bicyclists will be rerouted around the closure. Work is scheduled to take place around the clock; however the closure will remain in place overnight for safety reasons.
The intersection is scheduled to be reopened on Monday, March 16.

The improvements are not a part of the ongoing project between ADOT, the city of San Luis and Yuma County but do fall within the project limits.

For more information regarding this work, please contact city of San Luis Public Works at 928.341.8577 or 928.345.5852.

ADOT works to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but there is a possibility that unscheduled closures or restrictions may occur. Weather can also affect a project schedule.

For more information, please contact Gaby Kemp at 928.317.2165 or gkemp@azdot.gov.
