Yuma County, Arizona – The Yuma County Office of Emergency Management today announced that Yuma County and the City of Yuma have partnered with Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs to launch a Free Testing Blitz with the goal of increasing COVID-19 testing in Yuma County. The Free Testing Blitz aims to test up to 10,000 Yuma County/City residents (this includes Somerton, San Luis, Wellton, Dateland as well as Cocopah & Quechan Tribes) for COVID-19 beginning 6:30 am – 12:30 pm, August 11 – 15. The event will take place at the Yuma Civic & Convention Center (parking lot), 1440 W Desert Hills Dr, Yuma.
