San Luis, Arizona — The City of San is glad to announce that County 22nd Street from 10th Avenue to 8th Avenue (Sindewinder Road) has reopened to all traffic.

For the past five weeks, there was construction work happening for a road improvement project that consisted of creating additional turning lanes, repaving the street, and installing curbs and sidewalks.

“For the City of San Luis and the City Council it is essential to focus on the growth of the city and to focus on the quality of life for all residents," said Mayor Sanchez.  He added that this road improvement project would provide those traveling on County 22nd Street a safer ride as the city continues to grow.

Mayor Gerardo Sanchez, the San Luis City Council, and the City of San Luis would like to thank everyone for their patience during this project.
