The City of San Luis is proud to announce the arrival of its two new ambulances. This purchase was approved by City Council and they have been in service since September 13, 2017.
“This is a great addition to our existing fleet as these ambulances are equipped with the latest and innovative technology” stated Mayor Gerardo Sanchez. “As the City of San Luis continues to grow the services provided to our resident’s needs to improve and these new ambulances are a great example of how we are moving forward” he added.
The two new ambulances will allow the department to provide better service with advanced technology that will benefit the residents of the City of San Luis. The new ambulances include LED emergency compartment lights, extended patient compartment height dimensions, refrigerated compartment for IV solutions, drug box storage, and the total cost of this purchase was $379,290.00.
