San Luis, Arizona — The City of San Luis Senior Center hosted its traditional Father’s Day Celebration on Friday, June 17, 2016. The center provided senior citizens with a succulent meal as well as live music and a gift for every senior father that attended the event.
The City of San Luis Senior Center celebrates all the men that have the blessing of being called father. Men that have work hard throughout their life to serve as role models and guides for their children. Fathers play vital roles in our lives, inspiring us to reach for our highest potential, lifting us up when we need it most, and helping us become the people we were meant to be.
“On Father’s day, let’s honor all the men for which we have learned the meaning of fatherhood and who have taught us responsibility, accountability, and the importance of hard work” said Mayor Sanchez.
