San Luis, Arizona — On April 9th, 2016 the City of San Luis will be holding its first employee 5k event to promote a healthy workforce and a more physically active culture amongst the employees and their families. Due to this event some streets will be closed on this date from 7:30am-10:00am.
The list of streets that will be closed are as follows: Las Brisas Blvd., and Rio Seco St. (Access via East side using Rio Seco St.), Co. 22nd Street (Access to Orgullo Del Sol Apartments will remain and traffic redirected via 8th Ave on east side), Fourth Dr., Ed Pastor Ave., & McCain Ave. (access will remain via south side of streets).

“I am excited about the first employee 5k event; I believe this event is great opportunity to promote a healthier work environment, as well as encouraging employees to lead a healthier lifestyle” said Mayor Sanchez.

San Luis Police Department volunteers and explorers will be directing traffic accordingly. For more information on the event’s route please contact Omar Heredia at (928) 341-8579 or oheredia@cityofsanluis.org.
