City of San Luis Posted on December 12, 2025

San Luis, Arizona— The City of San Luis Parks and Recreation Department is proud to announce a $5,000 contribution from the Campesinos Sin Fronteras (CSF) 2THRIVE Youth Program.  This donation will directly support the department’s ongoing recreation programs, community activities, and park enhancement projects that benefit residents of all ages.

The City of San Luis Parks and Recreation Department has been an essential CSF partner for over five years, hosting the 2THRIVE’s flagship Summer Youth Leadership Institute (SYLI) at the Cesar Chavez Cultural Center. This partnership empowers young individuals to become leaders and positive change-makers in their schools and neighborhoods.

"We are honored to receive this donation from Campesinos Sin Fronteras THRIVE Program,” stated San Luis Parks and Recreation Director Angelica Roldan. “Their commitment to our community allows us to expand recreational services and strengthen the programs that bring families together,” she added.

The longstanding partnership between the City of San Luis Parks and Recreation Department and Campesinos Sin Fronteras THRIVE Program underscores a shared commitment to fostering community wellbeing, improving public spaces, and creating opportunities for residents to connect, play, and thrive.
