San Luis, AZ - The magical Holiday of Lights Parade returns to the City of San Luis on Thursday, December 11, 2025, bringing the holiday spirit to life with lights, live music, marching bands, floats, and community participation, this cherished tradition will light up the streets once again.

Event Details:

Date: Thursday, December 11th, 2025

Time: Starting at 6:30 p.m.

Route: The parade will start at Urtuzuastegui Street & 10th Avenue, travel west on Urtuzuastegui, continue straight, then turn right onto 8th Avenue, concluding at Southwest Junior High. Spectators are encouraged to arrive early to secure prime viewing spots.

Parade Participation & Registration:

Interested in participating in the 2025 Holiday of Lights Parade? Parade entry applications are now open! Whether you’re dazzling the crowds with a float, vehicle, marching band, or performing on foot, your creativity is welcome.

Applications are available ONLINE or in person at the Parks and Recreation Administration Building, at 744 E. Cesar Chavez Boulevard, San Luis, AZ, or by email at pradmin@sanluisaz.gov.

All entries will be judged by a panel of special judges in the categories of Best Automobile, Best Entertainment, Best Float, Best Marching Band, Open Category, and Music Category. One winner will receive the Merriest Award.

"The Holiday of Lights Parade is a highlight of San Luis’s festive season, bringing together families, local businesses, and community groups to celebrate the holidays," stated Angelica Roldan, Director of Parks and Recreation. "We are so excited to welcome everyone to join the fun, decorate, and bask in this bright, joyful celebration," she added.
