San Luis, Arizona – Vice Mayor Tadeo Azael De La Hoya has been appointed to the National League of Cities (NLC) 2025 Small Cities Council. Vice Mayor De La Hoya was elected to serve a one-year term to help develop and guide programs among local elected officials from similar communities. This appointment was announced by NLC President Steve Patterson, Mayor of Athens, Ohio.
As a member of NLC’s Small Cities Council, Vice Mayor De La Hoya will join a diverse group of local leaders to promote collaboration, networking, and the development of resources and programs that benefit communities sharing similar demographics, size, or geographic location, which can be replicated across the country.
“I'm honored to be appointed to the NLC Small Cities Council. This opportunity allows us to work collaboratively with other local leaders to share ideas, resources, and best practices that can significantly impact our communities,” stated Vice Mayor Tadeo A. De La Hoya. “Together, we can address the unique challenges faced by small cities and create sustainable solutions that benefit our residents.” He added.
