San Luis, Arizona—The City of San Luis proudly announces the successful completion of its first-ever concrete water storage tank at Well Site 7. This $4.1 million investment marks a significant step forward in the city’s commitment to resilient and reliable infrastructure.
Well Site 7 was under construction for over 342 calendar days by Yuma Valley Contractors, Inc., and engineered by CORE Engineering Group, PLLC. The newly completed 2-million-gallon tank significantly improves water availability, fire protection, and system-wide dependability for residents.
“This project represents more than just infrastructure; it's about securing the quality of life for our residents,” stated Assistant Public Works Director Jorge Perez. “We are proud to have delivered this facility on time and with long-term sustainability in mind.”
This concrete tank is designed with durability and low maintenance in mind, providing a long-lasting solution to the city’s growing demand for water services. The design will serve as a vital resource as San Luis continues to grow and modernize its municipal water system.
